The place that the freedom fighters, including Shri Naval Kishore Gurudev, have created by sacrificing their lives for the sacred freedom of the country, is unforgettable even today in the village “Gehrauli”, the heart of Hamirpur district of Bundelkhand. In order to increase the level of education and educational development of the villagers, Satyadev Dixit established Late Puran Ram Prakash Dixit Mahavidyalaya in 2014 in the memory of his late father and grandfather, Late Puran Ram Prakash Dixit.
Lt. Shree Puran Ramprakash Dikshit Mahavidhyalaya Gahrauli Keeping in mind the great need of education of the students of this backward area, the government has affiliated this college with Bundelkhand College for the Faculty of Arts (Hindi, English, Sociology, Political Science, Painting, Home Science, History and Environmental Science). It has been provided for the study and teaching of BA along with other subjects. Along with BA, the facility of B.Sc. Agriculture is also available. The college building is situated on a huge plot of 8 acres and about 40 acres of agricultural farm is available for the students of B.Sc. (Agriculture Science). The college is a private, well-equipped and grand building where There are complete arrangements for clean toilets (separate), common room, electricity, generator, clean water, cultured education and security for the students.
